Soo Kim

Twenty years ago, Soo discovered a love for real estate while pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS).  Amid her technology career, she acquired her real estate license and after 6 years in the corporate world and a Master's degree of Education in IT she decided to pursue her passion of real estate full-time.

Fifteen years later, Soo Kim is now the broker and owner of Maven Real Estate Group.  Having been a resident of Houston since the age of one, Soo truly knows the city she loves and calls home.  She believes it's one of the best places to live, work and play because of the strong local economy, warm and friendly community, culture in diversity and arts, best restaurants in the nation, and a solid housing market!

Soo is passionate about real estate because it's using her expertise to help people with their future, their family, their financial investments.  Married or single, with or without kids, helping her clients make the best decision is Soo's utmost priority.  Whether buying or selling a home or an investment property, her commitment is always to her client first, providing value-added service and local market experience.

Houston is known for many things: Oil, NASA, urban sprawl and business-friendly policies. But the Texas city deserves to be known for something else: coolness.

The Bayou City may not be the first place you associate with being hip or trendy. But Houston has something many other major cities don’t: jobs. With the local economy humming through the recession, Houston enjoyed 2.6% job growth last year and nearly 50,000 Americans flocked there in response — particularly young professionals. In fact, the median age of a Houston resident is a youthful 33.
